Stone is the table top a guest notices before sitting down, and the one the delivery crew notices first. The 5 tops here are granite, quartz and sintered stone, in rectangular, square and round shapes, and every one carries both an indoor and a patio listing. Plan the base and the route before the layout.

Granite, quartz and sintered stone

Granite is named on 2 tops, quartz on 1 and sintered stone on 1. Product pages give the detail. One granite table surface is 1 1/4" thick, comes in two granite colors, black galaxy and Kashmir white, and is offered in 12 sizes, one of them 30 by 72 inches. A quartz top is also 1 1/4" thick, in 6 finishes, and a sintered stone top is 1" thick, in 6 colors.

Rectangular, square and round shapes are each offered on all 5 tops. Prices range from $140 to $382.

Indoors and the patio

Indoor and patio use are both named on all 5 tops. Even a patio-listed stone top wants rinsing, drainage and a cover or storage place when the season ends, and the base beneath it must be a patio piece too. The outdoor table bases page lists bases for that job.

Pick the base with the top

Select the stone surface and its support as a checked pairing. Compare the listed sizes, mounting requirements, and support spread before placing the chosen combination in the basket. The warranty lists components bought alone among its exclusions, so the warranty page is worth a read before the top and base are bought apart.

From dock to table

When the crate arrives, check the carton count on the bill of lading and write down every damaged or missing carton before you sign. Standard service ends at the dock or the tailgate of a business address. Moving the top inside is the buyer's job, and the driver does not carry freight up or down stairs. If the route from the dock to the table is long, narrow or stepped, book a liftgate or inside delivery when the order goes in, because those services are booked when the order is submitted and charged extra.

Request a free sample of the surface through the samples page and judge the color under the room's own light. Compare softer surfaces on the wood table tops page before you decide. A call back from a specialist is worth requesting when stone and delivery have to be planned together.
